Ms. Wolford has successfully represented
clients in both federal and state courts in a variety of
litigation matters, with a focus in the areas of commercial
and employment litigation. Ms. Wolford is listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” in
the area of commercial litigation and she has been recognized by New York Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the top 25 female attorneys in Upstate New York.
Ms. Wolford is actively involved in the community, receiving a number of awards for her contributions. She received the Rochester Business Journal's 40
Under 40 Award in November 2006, and in 2003 she received
the Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the
New York State Bar Association. In 2000, she was a recipient
of a Special Service Award from the U.S. District Court
for the Western District of New York, for excellence
in the vigorous representation of a pro bono client.
Ms. Wolford served as President
of the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys
(2003-2004) and received the organization's Hanna S. Cohn Mentoring Award in May 2008. She is an active member of the Monroe County
and New York State Bar Associations, presently serving
on the Board of the Monroe County Bar Foundation and
Co-Chair of the Litigation
Section of the Monroe County Bar Association. Ms. Wolford
currently serves on the Sojourner House Board of Directors,
an organization dedicated to assisting women and children
in crisis.
While at the University of Notre
Dame Law School, Ms. Wolford served as Research Editor
of the Notre Dame Law Review, publishing an article on
lender liability for hazardous waste disposal. Ms.
Wolford is admitted to practice in New York and Illinois.
